Artist's Statement
This quilt is based on an Aesop's fable.
In the story, the mice hold a meeting to decide what to do about the cat.
One young mouse suggests that they hang a bell around the cat's neck so they can tell when it's in the area.
However, an old, wise mouse in the back asks, "But who is going to hang the bell around the cat's neck?".
The moral of the story is "easier said than done".
